I want to upgrade my 2013 SG head unit to an amp and 4 speakers. iI will be using 2014 saddlebags with speakers. I have not purchased the amp or speakers yet. I am looking for a plug and play system. Anybody does this and if so,what components did you use. Thanks in advance

As for plug and play amp setups I am a huge fan of the Biketronics amps and associated install kits. Lifetime warranty, very reliable, and good quality sound.

I do not like the sound of the BT speakers that can also be included in their packages. Many folks swear by them. We all have very different ears so take ur time on the speaker selection.

If ur budget includes lids and paint, u might have to look at some different amps and put a little more sweat into the install to save the bucks but not to worry, as all of us will assist.

the lids, saddlebags and paint are not included in the $1200. I would go up to $1400 for the audio if needed. Thanks

 

You can do about anything you want with that budget,, listen carefully to the guys who respond to this post, Gann, Haze, Tailwind, Ultra, to name just a few... Vids are necessary after install is done! LOL

 

do yourself a favor, these guys will give recomendations, and start with a top notch head unit, sony, alpine, kenwood. the stock hu are dinosaurs. after upgrading amp and 4 speaks in gf street glide, now we gonna go back and add a good head unit. it was a budget thing for us at the time, but your listed budget will get you everything you need for a top shelf system. and yes,,, we need a vid when your done
