Btw T. Those 8 are slammin! How does your old lady like them?
She is a music fan so she actually digs them, up to a point. Have them dialed back quite a bit to keep it all in balance so it's still pretty good SQ v the potential slam they can actually deliver.
This thread was Tailwind's idea and I ran with it. If I am on the same page as he is lets keep "Turn down for what" out if possible. The goal is to find a new go to baseline song and get some variety. Let the existing slide and start that from here forward. If that is unreasonable please speak now or hold your peace!!!! T any insight here?
Matt sounds good man. What are your lid speaker plans?
For the money I'm gonna give the Pioneer Pro 6x9s a try at 150 watts to start. Having a hard time believing the Moto 692s can handle the bigger power. I've been sending them 225-250 watts and out of two sets they have both had one speaker fail. So before i throw some big money at the lids I'm gonna go back to the drawing board and do some research. If the Pioneer Pros are what i keep hearing, they might just stay put.

Totally agree Slye!!! Hoping we move on from the"Turn Down for What" phase and the intended goal was to get guys to post up some vids of the songs they thought would be excellent for demo. Good tune, friendly for the genre diversity, and would test the lows, mids, and highs in a fairly obvious manner.
After we get several vids posted, perhaps one of those fancy forum polls might be in order polling only the song?
