Looking for alternatives to mounting tweeters in the grills. Please post up some pic's if you went a different route... Was thinking of area where my fairing mounted mirrors attached but hesitant to cut on the inner fairing...
What is used to cut the grills? Never cut a mesh grill before.
Two inch dozer bit with pilot bit.
Just screw the grill face down to a thick piece of wood, and drill away in the center of the grill. Clean up sharp edges w Dremmel. I used a couple of 2x10 scraps stacked and now have a jig that works well.
Just make sure u take the tweet to lowes w u as 2" might be a touch big. I think I have 1 7/8 for focal and 2" for hertz MLK but not sure.
