Cable gauge help

2 amps, SS PN4.1000D and Precision Power 350.2. Finally getting around to installing the PP amp. The question is do I do a 4 gauge wire to a distribution block with fuses to 8 gauge wires to the amps or do I do an 8 gauge wire to a distribution block with fuses to 8 gauge wires to the amps?

I ran 4 gauge with an inline 100amp fuse to my fairing and then run 8 gauge with 60 amp fuses from a distribution block to both my TM400x2 amps, I had run another power to the power supply on the MEX100 head unit when I was running it (1x 4 gauge in and 3x 8 gauge out distribution block)
