Default Bag lids

Hey guys, after a few months enjoying my new setup ( arc xdi, dd aw and at ) I think it's time to push it a bit further. I was looking at a recent thread that talked about custom painted 6x9 lids for 350$ or so but I haven't seen those kind of prices out there. If you guys with some experience could steer me towards the best blend of quality and price I would greatly appreciate it. Also is the difference between cvo style and standard worth the extra $ ? I'm looking for 2012 in ember red, thanks y'all

Kits, the standard response to this for 6x9 lids is hogtunes lids (not painted). I've not used them so I can't speak to them. Also check out Advan Black (painted)

The advan black looks promising, close to half the price of painted hogtunes

I'm very impressed with the build design & quality of the hogtune lids. Having a local guy paint them.

Lids & paint $600. Just for reference.....

I returned my set of advan lids since you have to use the adapter for 6x9s. I didn't like that. Hogtunes are solid.

Hogtunes lids here for 3+ years, good product. That said, in my experience you don't hear them much at speed.

I've tried different stuff, but for several years it's been a Power Acoustic 3000D amp, with Pioneer TS6902's in the lids. I have BT 7.1's in the fairing. I also have BT 6.5's in the lowers, which are paralleled with the lids. IMO it's a great budget amp but it's pretty big. It fits though.
