Default Help upgrading audio

just got my first HD tourer an Electra

came worh a kemwood radio radio and Rockford speakers that were blown.

I replaced speakers with new Rockford 6.5 larger speakers, but am disappointed, the sound is low and distorted, seems like the radio low power can't handle the new bigger speakers...

I am thinking an amp is needed to get this new speakers going...

what are the recommendation for an affordable amp that could fit inside the fairing ?

At 45RMS those speakers aren't going to handle very much power at all. I would consider upgrading the speakers and adding an amp. If that's something you'd like to do give us a budget.
