Default iPod Interface

http://www.onthemovetechnology.com/Pages/default.aspx
Anyone have comments good or bad on this device? I can't find very many reviews online but it would be a good fit for my needs with stock 2013 HK radio. I use my iPod exclusively and this would make it so much nicer to have direct control vs. just leaving on shuffle play plus it would charge. Thanks for any feedback!

Edit. The price at web site is $100 more than offered via eBay which is $179

Greg ,,,,,,

I was never fond of the Harley iPod modules ,,, nor the ones that came out later from the aftermarket ,,,,

they just never seemed to have the volume or gain levels into the system equivalent to the CD player in the 06-13 Harley HK radios ,,,,,

if you are married to those older iPod type devices, then go for it ,,,,,

but I think you would be much happier with the Bluetooth mod by Iron Cross Audio into your existing Harley HK radio ,,,,,, then you can link all of your music now and into the future into the radio at a decent input level and have good volume ,,,,,

www.ironcrossaudio.com ,,,,,

once you get that done ,,, then of course please think of J&M for any ROKKER speaker/amplifier kits to take your system up another notch ,,,,,

Hey Greg, I have had this unit on my ride for almost 4 years and it has performed great for me! works as it says it does with full handlebar functions. I listen exclusively to Ipod so it is always connected. Pretty easy install and if you listen to streaming services like Pandora, etc. it works with those as well.

I got one of these to extend the cable that comes with it to the tourpak. Just wrap the connection in electrical tape under your seat and you are good to go. Make sure you get the full function cable if you go that route, not just the charging cable.

If I had to do it again, I would. Great product.

Progress notes:
Ordered and received new device from On the Move. Plug and play wire harness a bit bulky for my taste so needed to do some research on lines to remove and install into plug. My service guide didn't name the lines so had to find online diagrams to understand what being used for; in short, CD input. Documenting for others as needed and let you know the final outcome when I get installed, needed to order a dummy module so amp can lay flat on top, slight delay but just filler for others who may do.

Completed project and works great, thrilled with the ability to control music choices from the factory handlebar controls. Total investment about $200 to solve never having to charge ipod and selectable music when the mood hits. It still allows to play in random fashion your entire playlists yet being able to skip a song. I see if you have an iPhone with same interface connection, allows for streaming music or trip directions (audio plays through radio, no control of function except via phone). Completely satisfied with my choice
