Default Subs?

Currently running 2 full range speakers in the lids and two in the fairing off a ARC 600.4. I saw an Amazon listing for JL HX 300/1 amp and a pair of Kicker CompRT subs for $400.

Possible to keep all 4 speaks and add the subs and amp? How would I wire the mess? and comments on the idea..

Here is a sample of what it will take to put subs in bags. Some have gone as far as doing full wood stack fab wooden saddlebags. Either way (bags or tour pak) you will need to make an enclosure with precise air space.

A better option could be using midbass drivers

"Plan" how much does one of them cost? Seriously, not sure what I would be getting into I have seen some mounts for inside the bag, but don't think I got the $$$ or wanna give up that much space to build something like the pic's you posted up..

My half baked idea was something like these

Maybe its just a passing early slow season thought... Thanks for the info...

I wanna say that guy paid $850 to have his bags glassed and ported for the proper air space and port size. A lot more goes into it than just put a sub in the bags.

The picture you have is best for a midbass driver that plays lower in the frequency range and can be bandpassed from 70-2000hz for example

Speculating I would need an additional 2 channel amp...Looking for opinions regarding improved low frequency sound... My experience has been that it tends to disappear as you increase speed. May be best to thin the wallet another way...

Those are AHB kits. They f*'in rock for what they are, super clean mounts. You're right, those are 8" mids. There's likely not enough depth for a 8" sub. Not to mention the bag would resonate like crazy.
