Wondering if anyone is using a tablet to run the ARC PSM program. I bought a Surface Pro last year to keep my Power Vision tunes on and things such as this. Turns out I can't use it for any of that stuff and I don't really understand why. Tried running the ARC program on our laptop and it was a no go as well. It has Windows 7 but other programs needed to be downloaded as well and the old booger just wouldn't do it. Wound up using my nieces laptop to program a baseline but that's as far as I got. Any suggestions on how to get this to work on my tablet? And speak redneckeese, I'm very computer illiterate.

There is a c++ program ( i believe is what it is called) it needs to use for some reason. The surface pro should be able to add and run it since it os windows based. I take you got a install error. A quick search shows some windows pc having issues. Do what the video says and then run the psm software again.
This ARC PSM program will work with the Surface Pro but will not work with the Surface RT.
For any of these PCs ur gonna need dot v4.5 or newer in order for it to work. The error message should point u to the MS Service packs that will get u v4.5.
U might just call MS and have them do this SP for u. I ended up upgrading all my computers to MS Windows 10 and it fixed that shix quicker than the SP process but it just depends on what Windows version u r most comfortable with.
Thanks T. And your help was much appreciated this wknd. Most of my issues with the PSM were self inflicted as you already know. I'll have to Relay all of this to my 21 year old consultant to get this up and running so I can get this setup tuned properly.
Well I think I'm screwed on this one. Turns out my tablet is not the Surface Pro. It's the plain Surface with Windows RT so I don't think I'll be able to use it after all. I wonder if the Geeks at Best Buy could figure out a way?? If not I guess I'll have to buy a new laptop.
