You can only run 4ohm speakers and the amp is non bridgeable. Even worse it only puts out 45 watts per channel. Would make a decent paperweight.

what kind of amp would i get the maximum sound and quality with a 2-4ohm speaker setup on my road glide.

That's what I thought, but I don't know much.

OP, need to know specs of the speaker to know what amp might help. What kind of budget do you have this?

i dont have the specs.i added them a couple of years ago and dont really remember.now that i think about it,im not even sure theyre 4ohm.

No worries Hawg! I go all the way back to 05-06 with JM and every speaker I ever purchased from JM was a 2 ohm speaker. It was their claim to fame back in the day. More efficient, Lightweight, Blah, Blah, Blah! I'd say the speakers you have are 2 ohms as well.

So what you want to do is get a nice set of 4 ohm speakers and a 2 or 4 ohm compatible amp.

i was thinking about a soundstream st 4 1000d and a couple of hertz speakers.would that be something that would be listenable and clear at highway speeds on a road glide?
