Nobody on this forum that is knowledgeable would recommend HT not a great bang for the buck...unless you bought it dirt cheap...how much did you pay for it!

Mike there's been several good suggestions throughout this thread. I think the OP is more comfortable with the plug n play type systems. Little do they know it's the same amount of work to install those types as it is to piece together a really good system.

I agree ..looked on HT's website..no real specs like rms on the amp or speakers! I still have mu original HT system...had 32 rms per channel! I did like the owner...that was the best thing about that system..lol!

Alright, OP already figured out what to do now its my turn. Just bought my first Touring harley. 2015 streetglide. The stereo is great for around town but once you get up to 70 it def washes out. I can crank it all the way up but doesn't sound that good. What I am looking for is crisp and loud sound. I would like to replace the round fairing speakers and also put an amp in if that will help. I would like to keep it under 400 dollars. can you guys give me a setup that you think will meet my needs? Thank guys. Ride safe
