Default Spring audio install

I'm planning on putting speaker lids on (Hogtune) this spring question is which speaker is a better option Hertz Mille 6x9 or the DDVO 6x9 or is there a better option and swapping the Diamond Micro 4v2 for Arc 600.4 ? Pricing not a problem !

I cant speak for the vo's but can for the milles as the are great in the rear. I can hear the hghs and mid bass at 70+ mph. You will loose any bass in the rears at speed. That is just the nature of having the speakers behind you with the wind at high speeds. I have tried the ts 6900's also but prefer the milles. The arc 600.4 will do them right but the focal sport will do them even better.

No. I also had them in the fairing, The milles can handle just about anything you can throw at them. I will tell you that those milles 65's have very distinctive highs are were ear piercing to this old man ears. That is why I went with the wdx6motos as they were not as ear piercing as the milles.
Now with the arc 600.4 it may be a different sound all together than the focal sport I run..

BTW, if your gonna do the lids then you might want to consider doing 8's in the lids instead of 6x9. Also consider doing lowers instead of the lids as they are in front of you and will be heard better than rears of any kind.

What year bike and what color as this can effect your options also?

I have a 16 RGS Velocity Red, I'm not a fan of how 8's look on a bike.

The arc 600.4 will do you justice with just about ant 4 ohm speaker you want to run. With the milles up front and rear, you should be good to go. I also suggest the if you haven't had the radio flashed for the fade front to rear, I would have it done and then you will need a bt355 LL for the rear also.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for your Mille 6x9 and amp ?
