Not to hijack, thanks for the link. I have a question and I'm sure it's a dumb one. If the positive is straight to the battery to the amp and the ground the same, where do you attach the blue remote, i know there's a remote place on the amp? How does that not cause a battery drain?

The amp will not turn on until the signal is sent thru the remote wire. It can be tied into the headunit or any accessory that is turned on when the ignition is switched to either position

Im not sure on the 2017 there is an orange wire coming off the headlight plug that you can tap into for the remote. On a 2018 that wire has been eliminated but there is a blue wire out of the boom box for a power antenna that will work for the remote wire on the amp. That blue wire will not work in acc mode just ignition which I personally like as it forces you to have the bike running and not run the battery down while in acc mode. (yes I have done that before) BTW ever tried push starting a bagger? Its impossible.

OH NO, It's possible, trust me. If you make the meet n greet, you will see it. Well actually not this one cause a bunch of us were smart enough to buy the portable jump packs now.

Now I bet that was a site to see. A bunch of guys pushing a 800# sled to push start it. Dammit Kris I want to go bad but I have to work that weekend and working for the US government well they kinda want you there.
Cig lighter should work for remote turn on as well.
I didn't think you could push start any fuel injected bike. Without battery power the ECM won't turn on to send it's signals to the injectors, cam sensor etc?

yep, i had to do it last year at Virginia City, just start pushing and the crowd jumped in and helped. just make sure you're in at least 2nd or 3rd gear and it was easy
