Default System upgrade

Audio crew,

I know many threads have been posted, but now I need recommendations for system upgrade. I have a 2016 Ultra Limited with 6.5 Boom head unit and (6) six speaker Hogtunes setup. The front (4) four speakers are being driven by Hogtunes amp and rear tour pack speakers are driven by head unit. I would like to keep lower faring speaker housings and change out speakers/amp.

What does the group recommend with a budget under $1000?

Rip out all the Hog tune stuff and purchase a quality amp. The amp is the heart and soul of your system. Do not purchase a cheap amp. JL would be my recommendation. The JL 400/4v2 can be had for $329 off Amazon. Much less if you do a search. Still leaves you approximately $650 bucks for a BT line leveler and speakers. With your budget I would keep it simple and purchase 2 sets of Infinity Kappa's (62.11i) to run with the JL amp. That will give you the sound you're looking for up front.

I would use a Soundigital amp Beyma or Hertz speakers. It might go over your budget a bit, but it will be well worth it in the end.

If you use a sound digital amp (Good, Powerful), you will need a DSP of some sort as that amp does not have a variable crossover built in. Food for thought

Never heard of him. People are here to ask questions and receive tips. You spouting off and not giving any quality help other than pimping your boy doesn’t help anyone. Just cause Louie uses those components doesn’t mean the OP ears will like it. Sound digital is a nice amp but again no variable crossover. Not everyone wants to run their shix crossed at 80. You never seem to offfer any useful information here why is that?

there are way more knowledgeable guys here than i am. Im also not gonna be like some guys here that have read posts and then regurgitate it back in other threads like they came up woth it. Im also tired of the EXACT same, what can i do with $$$$, or i have this bike what speakers should i go with. Especially when thry only have to look at the next thread down. If you are a clown, ill say it. Or if you want to spend a ton of money to hear FM radio, thats dumb. Ill say that too. Im not here to coddle your *****.
