Default Does it ever end???

OK, here is my next dilemma. I have a Metra Axxess ASWC-1 controller for the bars on an alpine HU, it had worked flawlessly for a month now but out of the blue, it just decided it was going to retire. Not understanding this, any info on jump starting this back, or why it may have given up? It’s only a month old do these things die that fast?

thanks for Any help.

I've been running mine for over 3yrs and it's never hiccuped once. Have you checked all your connections?

Yeah, I had the hood off over the weekend hunting a rattle and checked everything then. It all looked good. I did a 3000 mile cross country in June and it was great .I went to bike night tonight, worked fine and came home and nothing. I'm really stumped.

Does it light up when you turn the switch on or move the thumb controls?

Usually, but I didn't pull the hood tonight when she gave up so I'm not sure. I'll have to pull the hood again I guess. just got it all where I'm satisfied and now this.
Nothings ever easy.

I had a couple of dead scosche ones outta the box. I think in general they're poor quality. Same goes for LOCs. Junk.

Very happy that everyone is having such good luck with their decisions, but, does no one have any ideas about my issue?
