Default Which DSP

I currently have a twk88 sitting in my garage and I’m getting ready to install a new stereo. I was wondering if it would be worth it to swap the twk88 out for a fix just for ease of tuning. The bike is a Rushmore 14 ultra limited and I’ll be installing 4 6.5’s and 2 horns.

I've ran the TwK, FiX and a few DSPs. Where do you plan on installing the unit at?

I would like to install it under the batwing if possible. I can get creative if necessary to make it fit in there

It takes some cutting and it's still hard to fit in there. The wires will cause issues too. There's a few posts on here of people getting it to fit, but it wasn't pretty.

I willing to do what it takes to make it work. With the stock boom system, does it make more sense to run the fix with the auto correction or the twk?

The FiX is definitely an easier system to operate and eliminates the need for a line leveler too. In my opinion, it sounded better than a BT355 for flattening out the signal and the EQ is nice to have. The Arc is really nice for the size and opens up the door down the road for expansion. I do like JLs operating system the best out of everything I've tried so far, but the TwK is huge. What amp are you running now? Are you committed to keeping that HU?

the fix will not level out **** on a running bike. Call JL and ask them, I extensively tested it on Boom systems and it does nothing to combat volume EQ-ing. If you're a JL guy go get the TwK. The magic happens in the crossover.

The 'flat' thing is only useful if you are NOT running a x-over. Your end curve is anything but flat. The TwK is boss, I really like it. That said, the only x-over I'll run now is the Helix, its stoopid good (and stoopid expensive).

Not to mention the TwK has way better resale value in the car audio market and is more useful to most than the FiX is. It's a wiser purchase IMO.

So the twk88 will fix the boom eq with the bike running? I guess my question is, once I set the eqs and crossovers, will the eqs need to be set differently for bike running and not running?
