Remember the 880's are designed to be on a boat either in a one of their longer mounting tubes, or IB on the wall of a boat so the small enclosure does take some thump away as opposed to the size of the bag. To me the happy spot power wise for them is 175-200w any more than that and you have to cross a little to high and lose out on the good bass they produce.
