Default Setting HZ help

I have a 2015 street glide and i installed the b52 amp, line leveler and the polk mm652 speakers. I understand how to set the gain and it worked well. How do I adjust the HZ? The speaker manual says they’re 40hz. Do i just turn the **** to 40 and leave it there? I am only running the two fairing speakers. Thanks guys!

Another question after looking at it.. It goes from 40 to 400 with a dial but no other numbers. Do you just kinda eyeball it?

Just eyeball it. You can always tweak it either way while its playing to fine tune it

If it starts at 40 and ends at 400, the math says 180 would be in the middle and 90 would be at the 1/4 mark.

You mean 220 in middle and 130 at quarter, to add the initial 40 back in.
But that’s if it’s linear scale. Could be log scale.

No I mean 180. If you start at 40 and end at 400 that gives you a total swing of 360hz. So 180 is your middle freq at 12oclock on the dial.

180 is half way between 40 to 400. But if you’re starting at 40, you need to add 40.

the **** doesn't start at 6 o'clock. It's more like 7-8 o'clock. The 40 is already there if that makes sense.
