My understanding its a techno research tool with a limited one bike license.
That would sure explain the affordable price point, being a single license use. The downside would be the price for a single use machine. Plenty of places will flash a head unit for $75.00, a much better value.
My understanding its a techno research tool with a limited one bike license.
I do believe that is correct as you can choose different flashes for ONE bike. Once married to that bike (ecm) it cannot be used on another bike. But if you take your flash back t the original one that was on the bike when you hooked up that releases the tool to be used on another bike. For instance if you take your bike back to stock to trade it in, then the kicker flash tool can be used on your next bike. Software can be updated via download or returning to kicker.
