Default AHB Stealth Power

I came across this stealth power adapter from American Hard Bags that plugs into the empty CB port from touring bikes. Has anyone tried this? Can it really replace the need to run cables to the battery?

Before anyone jumps, I did search the forums and didnt find anything, or possibly missed a post addressing it.

I don’t know if I would use that for powering an amplifier, The wire gauge is to small. Maybe something with a low power draw

I wrote AHB, and they confirmed that this would NOT take the place of running 8 gauge wire to the battery. It is intended only for small powers items like the DSR1.
