Default It bit me!

Well the audio bug got me. It’s been 3 weeks since I upgraded the fairing now I want more.
I know lowers are the best option for more, direct, audio but I’m not particularly fond of lowers. So I wanna do lids.
So here is the 2 options I’m looking at. Curious on your thoughts and opinions.
Option 1: Rockford Fosgate lid kit.
Option 2: Advanblack single speaker lids with MMATS 609cx.

I’m not a huge fan of how the advanblack lids look so if there is a better option for lids (something that looks like the Rockford setup)

Which has the better low end?

Currently running MMATS 601cx In fairing driven by MMATS 4110 amp.

Option 3 Voodoo 880 lids. Start with some Mmats 801cx or any other 8” then switch to 880s the next time the bug bites.

I like how the RF 6x9 kit looks and sounds with good amp and proper wiring.

What year do you have? There is a set of 14 and up lids in the for sale section.

What color is your bike ? If vivid black 14 and up i am more than pleased with my $130 Ebay lids, would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I have the RF kit with the mmats pa690.4 cx in them. Sounds good to me. I wish I could get some 8 lids but no paint still available yet.

My bike is 2016 olive gold street glide. Ideally I’d like to get lids that are already paint matched.

I'm sure Voodoo can accommodate that.

I doubt that blue will ever be available from Harley. It will have to be custom mixed.
