Default Tuning suggestions

Hey guys, been gone a year with some medical issues, back on the bike and finally dumped the HD junk and installed the new Sony 5000. I've been reading the threads but still unsure about a few settings. If I remember correctly someone said to turn the amp all the way down and turn the radio volume to about 40, then start turning up the amp. My question is what do I have the radio settings at? (see 2 pictures). Thanks!

Here's what I have;

Sony AX-5000, Sound Stream PN4.1000D amp, BT 7.1's in the fairing and BT 5x7's in the speaker lids.

Extra bass- off
EQ subwoofer -off
Cross over- off
DSO- off
Set EQ (back arrow from that screen) off
Set balance to the front when tuning the gains for the front
Set balance to the rear when setting gains for the rear.

Volume at 37.
HPF on the amp app. 80 (depending on what speakers are in play)

After you get it dialed in there, then you can start with the eq to adjust highs and lows for your per your liking. Just keep in mind that 37 to 40 should be your max volume while riding.

I wanted to come see you in Daytona, just couldn't make it happen. It's on my list of things to get done this year for sure. Glad to see you still here and doing well!

BTW once you get the basic tune down with everything off, you can enhance the sound using the dso, customizing the eq and bass boast. Keep in mind that what may sound good on 1 song with enhancements can sound like shixx on another song.

I have a question related to tuning with the Sony 5000 HU. Stinger SPX700X4 amp, Arc Moto 602s in the fairing of a 2017 FLHX.
What's the best input source for the music you are tuning too? Radio? Jump drive? Bluetooth from iPhone? iPhone plugged into USB?

Download some quality music on a memory stick and use that. Radio, Bluetooth are subject to signal strength and not always good quality.
