IMHO yes as the mpx 6x9's sound better than the hcx yet the opposite is true for the 6.5's. The mpx 6x9's have a clearer high end over the hcx. Now for another option I suggest getting a set of the new mmats pa690.3 cx as those just outweigh all of the hertz 6x9's. I have a set of mpx and a set of cpx 6x9's sitting on the shelf as those mmats out perform both of the hertz. They just pound and don't need a lot of power to do so.

Yes sir as I tend to be dyslexic from time to time or just old. The mmats are just that damn good!
"Yea I had the same problem finding them. What hertz do you have?"
At present time I have a set of mpx and a set of cpx 6x9's and both sitting on the shelf as the mmats are in the bike. Sold the hcx 6x9's along time ago.
Just installed the MMATs 6x9s about 30 minutes ago. All I can say is wow. These things are amazing. Sq is great has a nice low end and the highs aren’t too bright. Obviously haven’t put any miles on the bike with them as of yet since the weather is **** once again. But I’m sure I’ll have no problem hearing them.

What’s the model number? And where did you purchase them
If you're looking for bass, the Diamond Audio MS69CX 6x9 coax subs would be what you're looking for. The only way you're going to get your bags slapping is putting them in the bags facing the wheel, 2 per bag preferably depending on how much bass you're looking for. Lids only you're only going to get mid and high sounds only.
