I didnt want to try and cram my SS PN4.1000D under the batwing. Mounted it to the wall of my tourpak. As expected radio reception is terrible. Just wondering if I put a hidden antenna in the fairing will the reception clear up since the amp is at the other end of the bike? Thanks in advance.
Well I tried the Harley hidden antenna. Made no difference ☹️. If anyone wants to put their antenna in the fairing, it’s for sale in the audio classifieds.
I didn't get decent reception on my 2010 Ultra until I went with a full length steel whip antenna and an Arc Moto 600.4 amp. I tried upgrading the antenna first and it made a tiny bit of an improvement but the Arc amp made a bigger improvement.
