Default Battery Screws

Everything is in..3 amps, then I go to screw the cables back into the battery....stripped. From what I can tell the quick fix is an M6x1x14, ornis this one of those times to stick with oem?

In the past I have just taken the screws to a hardware store and gotten the length I needed. Those definitely look to be a little on the short side. I don't know if it is the best thing to do though. I also put blue Loctite on the threads before running them in.

If you wind up getting screws that are a little too long you can put lock or star washers on them to shim them up a bit.
