My questions is when you are adding to an existing system do you stay with the same brand or do you tend to add the speakers to get what frequencies you want to add to enhance your sound quality. I have the Euphoria EX6NCD in the fairing and Euphoria EX6NCX in the lids. I am wanting to add lowers to pick up some of the lower frequencies and add to my mids. My plan is to add 8's in the lowers. Is there an advantage to staying with a brand or just go with what your ears like the best? I don't see myself changing anything when the new latest and greatest comes out.
This is why we tell people to plan a system out and include future upgrades. Get with the folks that sold you the DB as they will have a better idea of what plays well with them.

Juice this is what I was asking. Are you better to stay within the product line or go with what plays well with a product line. Also will a DSP help to blend the frequencies from different speakers at different locations so those frequencies all work together. This was always my second phase build but at the time there were no lowers for the 19's. The suggestion was to go with a tour pack which would not be my first choice.
lol ok......gotcha...not allowed to discuss cost on your thread....
You can discuss what ever you wish but I am needing input to make a decision and that decision will not be based on what someone else thinks about pricing. Not trying to be rude just need input from people that have been down this road many times.
just a thought, who's 8 inch lowers are you going to use? for me, i would pick the speaker that i think is going to work best in the position, not based on brand but on performance. if you favorite brand has something, great, if not, no biggie. if your favorite brand has something that is very close to a similar speaker from another brand, then that's a call to make. i like to base my decisions on performance.

I am looking at the Dirty Bird 8's but I will have to go down to the shop and see them before I kick out that kind of money. These will go on a CVO so looks matter quite a bit. I have heard the Beyma 8 300NDN and really like their sound. Just don't know about adding another compression driver to the Euphoria's.
