first off I have a 2017 sgs has stock head unit bt line leveler running 2 diamond audio micro 4 chan amps one to a set of sv165.1 with a hertz mille tweeter in the grill the second amp is bridged running a set mpx 690.3 in the bags
my line leveler went out or fried the right side of the bike. Speakers have warranty so i can replace them with the same speakers or upgrade them i am not sure if it would be better to replace the line leveler or just replace the head unit with the sony 5000 or wait till the 7000 comes out or get a sound proccessor i want to keep ip looking stock so 6x9 in the lids and just fairing speakers. The amps are fine so dont need to replace them in less it will make a noticeable difference thank you f

Never ever ever heard of a LL being responsible for frying a stack of speakers as it's essentially a passive device.
Got any more details? U sure it's the LL? What did BT say about it?
Thx!!

Did not call them gives me a excuse to upgrade but my assumption would be the ll because front and rear speakers each blew 1 speaker and there on different amps thats the only common part
I'm with Tailwind on this as I have never heard of a bt355 going bad. I also have not heard of a mpx blowing unless it got REAL wet. Those speakers are bullet proof for the most part. My thought is tuning is what caused your problem. Did you tune the LL or leave it in default mode? Also check/ change all the rca cables as that may be the problem and your speakers may be fine.

Just a quick thought..... are you using y cords from the line leveler to input both amps? When you say the speakers "blew", do you mean no sound or bad sound?
yes im using y adapters and i mean there blown the left side blew all 3 speakers across 2 different amps i had the bike tuned at a reputable spot and it worked great for a year
