Default Android Auto and android phones

Does anybody have any problems with connection with Sony HU and the Samsung phone? It does the same in my car. I'm thinking it is the phone itself.

You have a newer version of Android running on the phone? Try another cable. My experience has told me that the cheap ones don't work. Even the good ones can be flaky and need occasional reseating on the phone.

What they all said, I actually called Fat Head about it, they said use the OEM cord. Haven't had an issue since other than the Waze screen not showing more often than not but it happens in my truck also so I think it's App related.

Never a problem with non-OEM cords.

For some reason with the old and new cord my WAZE blinks and sometimes the screen is just gray and blue until I hit a button or something. I was thinking it was my phone, but it does that in my car too. difference cord.

Ok, I'm going to retract my statement! A couple of months ago Waze in the f150 starting doing what you're saying and constantly refreshing. I'll swap the cords and report back! This is only with Waze. Weird .

I used google maps today and had no problems so I think it is the WAZE app.

exactly what I stated above, it's got something to do with Waze, I don't think it's the cords. You can switch over to Google Maps and it works no problem.
