I realize there is separate volume controls, but is that really a gain control?

wouldn't this be individual gain control, seeing that you can adjust the amount of each input, for each channel?

MH,
Yes you could call it that too. I have all my other speaker turned down and left my 10's wide open to help get more boom and warmth.

I've been looking at the Dayton 408 and the DD DSI 2.
Which one fits better in the 05 Ultra batwing, and where are you guys mounting them?

Currently have a Sony HU with the Stinger 700 on top. Probably be upgrading the Stinger to one of the new SD amps in the spring. I also have a NVX Vadm4 on a Hogtunes bracket on Brake side.

Which DSP fits better?

Default DD Dsi2

Anyone put a DD Dsi2 in a new Road Glide? I have the DSR1 now and thinking about switching if it will fit. I have SD800.4-4 on top of the headlight and a 250.2 on the left of the head unit.

I have used the DSR 1. I ran it for about 6 months

Pro's.
low cost, small, BT (kinda)
Con's.
horrible experiences with connections (BT)
Software /firmware is hell to update.
Saving and loading a tune can be a pain.

I have had the DD Dsi2. about 10 month now.
Pro's.
Very easy software, easy to share and load tunes.
8 individual channels. And 2 pass thru RCA's
Con's.
Cost a bit more.
BT is a seperate purchase,
Bigger than the PSM and Dsr1.

What are your experiences?

Juice
tuning it. Some song has the right qualities and others sound horrible.

Partially why we ask what genre of music a person listens to. Some music does sound better on certain speakers.
