hey how long did your HK stock radio last ?? or is it still working? i was riding a few weeks ago and all of a sudden no more sound. how may have had this problem?? just wondering not sure weather to buy a different head unit or just send this to Iron Cross Radio.. all the functions are working just no sound

When folks recommend aftermarket units keep in mind most do not have the water resistance the stock HK units have. I say if you were happy with it before it broke just get it fixed by Iron Cross. I had them add some preamp outputs to mine and used that method to build a decent system around.

I was gifted the radio form my buddies bike after he passed away, it had been sitting on a shelf after he took it off his SG for not working. I had Iron Cross fix it plus add a jack for my Sirius and change the color to match my gauges, great work and does what I need it to do. And every time I turn it on, I think of Danny, win/win for me.
