Without a dsp I think the mmats 690.cx would be a good option. I still like the DD VO6x9 but they really need band passed on the xover.

Thanks for the recommendations, I was looking at hertz mpx690.3 Mille pro’s. They are rather expensive though, Do you know how do you compare to your recommendations?

Hertz MPX690.3 Mille Pro 6" x 9

Thanks for the recommendation, I thought I would have to spend 400 or 500 to get some decent speakers. Actually looking at that Hertz mpx690.3 Mille pro

A member here has ran both and prefers the mmats. I heard his bike with just fairing, lowers, and lids and it sounded great.

The mmats are much better than the hertz, i tested them side by side, louder cleaner and better bass.

I wonder who that is lol? I have them both and like them both but the mmats will go a tad lower and have signifyingly higher volume with less watts needed. They are also water repellent treated where as the hertz are not so that also makes them a big advantage. Marco also has the right advise as he has run a bunch of different 6x9's and has written threads on his testing them.

Thanks all, for the help. I have a few quick questions. Started tuning the bt4250 amp/ Arc Moto 602hd’s last night I have the gains set about 3 o’clock, the high & low pass filters set at 80Hz it seams fine very loud and clear, I’ve read the 602hd’s can take a beating, 1) does 3 o’clock seam right with that amp? Don’t want Any Magic smoke. 2) The Mmatt’s are 100RMS how much more power will they take and any guess what that would look like on the Bt4250? (Clockwise) 3) where can I find the best price on Mmatts. I’ve learned so much from this forum and it’s members you guys are great!

There is a gain setting thread in the stickies that should get you in the right spot.
