Hey guys, been a while since I have posted here. I am in the market for a new system. I won't be installing it myself, and I am relatively pleased with the factory system right now. Now the reason I am wanting to upgrade is, I would like lower faring speakers and one of my upper faring speakers has blown. I don't often ride with the stereo all the way up, but I would like that option, and I'm not doing lower faring speakers now, but would like that to be noted for amps and system recommendations; It needs to allow for a second set of speakers to be hooked up. The big thing I am looking for is speaker longevity. I have had the bike for 4 years, and have replaced only the left speaker on my bike going on twice now. I'm hoping for a better speaker quality so that it doesn't go out on me as often. What recommendations are there for all included kits for 2 speakers and an amp, with the ability to add 2 lower speakers later on with little to no hassle for a 2017 Road Glide?
I was greatly considering Rockford Fosgate, but cannot find any info on the "new" system that will be coming out soon, according to their website.
Biketronics has also been talked about often and is something I have looked into some as well, and right now they are doing $100 off a '15+ Road Glide speaker and 2 channel amp deal. Is that a good grab for under $1000.
