Do any of the DSP's come with premade programs that you can download as a starter "tune"? I realize it would be different tuning for every bike, amp and speakers. But are there premade ones that can serve as a starting point for those of us novices that have never used a DSP before? I thought I heard the Rockford DSR1 might have something like this. Was I misunderstanding?

Now that you mention that, I think I read that the DSR1 has that, too. Nice feature. Im more asking about the output side... getting some sort of canned tuned (can of tuna?) to start with.

There are far too many variables for that. Just not gonna happen.

Do you know that for a fact, that no DSP has any canned or sample tunes? Or is that just a guess? I already said that I realize there are many variables. But for example, a Rockford DSP could come with a canned tune for a Rockford amp and RF speakers, much like a V&H engine tuner has canned using V&H pipes and such, and you can then adapt. My question is, DO any of the DSP's have this sort of thing?

I just bought the DSR1 from American HardBag. When you order it, they will send it to you with a pre-programed app/tune installed. You just have to tell them how many speakers and if you are using a stock radio. It is only a starting point! But it does get you in the game.
FYI Make sure you have access to Apple. The android just won't cut it.
