Okay... So I've been reading threads looking for best options to upgrade my 2020 FLHTK. I'm about in analysis paralysis. So many different options and combos I don't even know where to start. Can anyone provide some help.
Budget up to $1800 or so if that's what it takes. Being said if I can get quality for 1k so be it.
Want to stay with 4 speakers, 2 fairing 2 tour pack.
Here is what I know. Buddy of mine has the Rockford Fosgate 6 speaker. Loud, clear, not deep enough for me. I get bass is very limited/ non existent but would like to get what I can get.
Help me out here please my head is spinning. Thanks in advance!

What kind of budget are you working with? The sky's the limit in the bike audio world, so a budget is the first step in putting plan together for what you're looking for.

I'd pay for what is worth it. I'm doing the install. I'd say max $2000. Prefer less. I don't need competition grade but I want good quality. Can get the sinister sounds setup under $2k. But if I can get a good system for 1k I'm fine with that.

yep, need your budget, number of speakers and where will they be located, what's your end goal? like Teedoff said the sky is the limit, heck i'm running 10 speakers and 3 amps on my ultra and pretty sure at least 4 of those speakers will be changed out along with one of the amps this fall.

Well then I'll throw out my stand by recommendation....sure to bring our the troll.
Keep in mind, with just tourpack speakers....an even most rear speakers, most sound is lost at higher speeds. In my previous bike I was running the stinger amp with mmats 601cx in the fairing and the mmats 690cx in my bag lids.
I had good clear music at any speed. I could hear my rears pretty well even at highway speed as well.
stinger spx amp prices has been fluctuation the last few weeks, but you can catch it for around 200.
The mmats will run you 200 or so a pair.
Now sure theres much better, but thats a very good system for very little money that most anyone would be happy with. I was extremely happy before i traded. lol

Definitely see this setup recommended often. I probably won't do lid speakers because I don't want to lose packing space. But I may change my mind on that. Definitely looking for an option that's lower should than Rockford fosgate. Was just too high pitched for me.

I did the RF lid kit and ran the 6x9 speakers that came with the kit for a couple weeks. They have a little bass, but nothing compared to even the mmats. Was a huge improvement.
Yes RF and those "kits" sinister sound included are WAY over priced.

I sort of figured. I mean anyone can port their front speaker pod if needed. They recommend their front speaker and then two 6.5 woofers in the rear which is intriguing to me. Makes sense to me anyway.
