I have a 15 S/G Special with biketronics 4180 amp and 7.1 speakers. I bought a king tour pack and want to add tour pack speakers and bag lid 6x9 speakers. Would like to run tour pack speakers with 4180 and get a another amp for the lid speakers. What brand lids and speakers and amp do you recommend for bags and location for amp, bag or faring? What brand pods and speakers for tour pack?
I’m not attached to the 4180. Can 6 speakers be pushed by one amp or do I need 2 amps? Tour pack will not be on bike all the time but I want music from the speakers when it is on bike. FM signal is not a concern because I always play music from phone play list.

It all depends on the speakers, I ran 8 off my 4180, it's still in the Bike running 6, being "tuned" with a Dsp, however I will say its coming out this fall,, when upgrade #4 happens.
so lets back up a bit here. Does the tour pak have pods ? If not junes makes some nice ones I hear but have not put eyes on them. What is your budget for this?
A good system for the money would be keeping the BT4180 and powering the fairing and tour pak. Then adding a amp for the lids NVX VADM4. Mmats 601.4cx in 4 places and Mmats PA690.4cx. I would run the bridged to the 6x9's. That will let you match the 6x9's volume wise to the fairing speakers.
