Default "wireless" Mic for Comm system

Has anyone ever used something like this with their CB for PTT systems?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/THE-FREEDOM...0AAOSw~OVWu76N

Thinking it would be a little low to realistically work at high speeds - was wondering if I could buy an extender cable for the 7 Pin DN connector on the console so I could clip the mic on to my vest and get it closer to my face.

I think I could fabricate some kind of plastic windguard to put around the front of the mic to try to block wind noise up that high as well.

ITs $50 - if they still have any left I might take a shot at it if I can get an extender cable.

Dont want earbuds or headphones, dont want to listen to music through my cmm system either. Just want to Push to talk to a fellow rider with a CB connection and would rather not take 2 hands to operate a corded MIC.

Thanks.
