Im sure this has been asked before, and I have done a little searching with no luck.
2015 SGS stock hu I installed a 2channel amp and MMatts 601 in the fairing. Currently I have theBT355 and would like to get rid of the 355 and get my hu flashed. What Rockford Fosgate flash would be the one use.
If I get rid of the 355 , can the head unit output be wired directly to the amp input or is there something else that is needed
Thanks fellas

There is only 1 Rockford flash. Just have to find someone/shop that has the tool to flash.
You will just need a line out converter to add RCA's to connect to amp. I use the PAC SNI15

In your experience, can (or will) a Harley dealer do the RF flash...or only their own HD flash? Closest indy with a TechnoResearch tool is a couple of hours away.

I'm not 100% certain on dealerships. From what I've heard is that most dealers won't flash other than the Harley flash and I'm not sure if they even have the RF available. You could ask them to flash the Harley 8/2, although they might look at you funny and ask what that is. I bought the Techno flash tool and it comes with all the flashes: RF, Harley, Soundz, Kicker, Wildboar

Thanks for the reply! Thought now with HD pushing RF product as an upgrade they may have it. Wonder what flash the dealer is doing when they upgrade a customers bike to a new HD issue RF stage 1 or 2 system?
Guess I could ask my dealer...worst they can do is say no.

Not sure about Canada, but there is a dealer locator tool on RF's website. Also most indy audio shops will have one or both flash tools.

Yah, I checked the locator and closest to me is about 2 hours away. I called them and they're saying they can't get me in till early July!?!? Little surprised at that. I can understand being busy but I thought a flash was like a 15 minute deal?

the new rf/harley system doesnt require a flash you set it up with an app via smartphone or tablet just an fyi most dealers dont have a clue about it they think your still talkin bout the original rf stuff for harley although some 14-18 bikes with the 6.5" gt hu still needs the rf flash to tame the bass but not if you have the gts hu .
