Default GTS compatibility

If I upgrade from a 6.5 GT to a GTS, will my XM, GPS, and CB work on my 2014 FLHTCU?

XM module will transfer
GPS is included in the GTS
The cb to me is unknown. If cb is optional on 19up Ultras and Limited models, I'd say yes.

The same (76000486A) Bike-to-Bike Communications Kit (CB) fits 2014 to current, so yes.

I had YouTube playing in the background and this video from NVS audio came up detailing the slight differences in the various bezels of the newer GTS units compared to the older Boom GT ones. Might be some good info for someone looking to put a GTS unit in an older Rushmore bike. The presenter shows that they can be installed in the older bikes, but sometimes a little trimming of the fairing may be necessary on some bikes to get a flush fit.

The bezels are Identical to the GT, If your installing a unit made for a Batwing into a RG, then yes you would have to snip of 4 or 5 tabs inside the faring where the radio sits so it can be flush. I did this to my 15 CVO RGU, as when I ordered my GTS the only one available was for the Batwing, fit like a glove and it was all plug and play. Also my CB works, XM module from GT Fit the GTS, With CarPlay you now. have 4 maps to choose from. If you order the correct unit for your bike no trimming is required.

I pulled a GT out of my 16 RGU, put a GTS in it... I plugged the GT's Sirius Module into the GTS, used the GT CB module with the GTS, and the GPS/Nav is actually a part of the GTS head unit, like it was on the GT head unit.... PLUS I had the one HD amp under the GT head unit in the fairing, now it is also hooked to the GTS.... all of it works with the GTS just like it did with the GT. Of course I had to have the stereo flashed/authorized and configured for my systems setup by the dealer.

Can you tell me what the dealer did in order to get the GTS to work on yours? My dealer is saying that they need to install my GTS in a 2019+ bike to flash it first.

If you buy a retro fit radio from the dealer, no fiddle flashing.
If you buy a used 2020 or 2021 with the newer updates, no fiddle flashing.
If you buy a used 19 or 20 with the early flash, it has to go in a GTS bike and have the latest update done prior to installing in an 18 down bike.

Thanks DSM, I just got mine flashed and debating on going further.
my new GTS is from a RGS and I have a batwing. Modifications have to be done unless....
I trade with someone.
XM, GPS, & USB works well. CB is a work in progress.
