Hi , recently had the Stinger SPX 700 x 4 and Mmatts 6.5 installed on my 16 Street Glide Special , only running the fairing at this point , the Amp is set up for the 2 channel , the volume and treble is great but I am lacking bass , it's there but would like a bit more thump , adjusting the audio on the head unit gets me a bit better , Did pick the wrong speakers ? .
Leave the treble and bass in the HU flat for now. Try adjusting your freq a bit on the amp. Not sure how low the mmats can be set safely without a DSP. Others will comment I'm sure and give you a safe freq setting.
I had the mmats, but also had the 690's in the lids. I thought they had some decent bass, but they do lack a bit for most ppl. They other option is swapping them out for the GZ spl's. They play much lower and have better fuller sound. You amp might be a little light for those speakers though.
Also, what flash did your have done to your HU? Are you using a BT355?
