Default Boom radio CVO GPS install

Hi, I need help. hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction. I came across a CVO Boom Radio with GPS and Siri, I have a 2008 RK with aftermarket batwing, My question is since I only have the radio with the GPS antennas and other radio antennas but no plug can the radio be hard wired?

Sadly, I believe you may be out of luck in a pre-2014 bike.

So is not like an aftermarket radio where it can be hotwired? What else would i need besides the Radio and antennas?

The hotwiring part of it is well out of my scope of knowledge.
I just stated the fairly obvious, that the plug and play aspect was probably not gonna happen.
Wish my replies were more helpful. Best of luck.

Edit: Guess I could have read and comprehended your original post before I replied...

Yeah just add a CAN BUS network and you'll be good to go!

I see they make aftermarket cam bus through J&P cycles. I'm sure that's not a plug and play since I have an 08 RK should i just stick to my Garmin and forget about the CVO radio GPS?

you'd be much better off going with the soundstream head unit made specifically for your year...

Good luck OP. You will have no difficulty selling the radio here.

So I got the radio and both antennas and they are in EXELENT condition, I looked and I found the plug for the radio on eBay so once I get the plug ill take a crack at installing it, if I can get power to it I wont have a problem installing it and making it fit... lol
