I think I have seen different mount kits to add a radio head unit in the glove box area of a late motel bat wing Flh Standard/Police. Single din or double din. Any suggestions? Thanks
You will have to decide if you want a single din or a double din HU.
I have converted a couple of FLHTP to FLTHX.
You will have to change out both handlebar switchpacks to be able to control the audio via hand controls. I also installed the Soundstream Reserve HDHU.14+ with full functionality.

Thanks for the reply. Single or double din is fine. I don't need hand controls so just the hard mounts for a head unit. For single din I have seen a filler panel so that would be nice.
Thanks, Frank

For a single Din mount you will need
Scoche HD14UBN
You will also need
Metra BC-9700P
If you want to go with a double din HU that will run you from $500 and up plus the Metra audio harness kit listed above.
If you have any experience with the Rushmore electrical circuits and don't want the hand controls operational you could use just the single mount kit.
I found a kit. https://enrock.com/Product/motorcycl...arts/e-ehdra14
All I need is a mount kit for the Pioneer head unit that I have my eye on. Hopefully I can find a keyed power and constant power source - haven't had the batwing off yet - hoping to accumulate parts before digging in like I did with my evo ultra when I upgraded from the cassette player.
Mount some speakers in the provided speaker mounts and away I go......
Nuthin' fancy.
