I have a 2015 Ultra CVO with boom box. Can anyone advise if it’s worth buying the intercom system for it:
my helmet already has an Aussie system in it for the phone , navigating and filming but as an intercom ( via having to do it by a phone call) just doesn’t work!
I only need rider to pillion communication so is the Harley branded plug in system the best alternative? Thanks!

Not certain what you are talking about. The 2015 Ultra CVO with boom box already have an intercom system installed.
I know the bike has its boom box system but I already had a pair of Forcite helmets ( Aussie company) which have a multitude of functions built into them : the one thing that fails with these helmets is the intercom part: so I would like to know is the Harley system head set/ cable connection bike to helmet clear and precise? As buying it just for that I am happy with as long as it works good!
as for the navigation : this is built into the helmet via a phone system but I would still update the bike boom system if the navigation system update for Harley is up to date : and I can’t find anyone that can confirm what was the last date Harley updated the Australian maps
my bike is a 2015 ultra cvo FLHTKSE with 6.5 GT boom box
If you purchased the Harley headsets that plug into your driver and passenger posts on the 2015 CVO, you will have great intercom connections. Before you buy them from Harley, check here - you may find some for sale around S50 or so. Try to post a Wanted in the sale section. Not sure about the shipping cost.
As far as the Aussie maps, sorry - I can't address that.
