Just picked up a Street Glide and I know these are solid amps but not enough to figure out which amp. I am putting a set of lowers on and initially doing the front of the bike. In time, possibly adding subs, the Faital 8" in the bags. Just not sure yet.
Which amp would be the one to go with ?
i've got two fronts with 250rms each, two tweeters with 150rms each, and two rears, 150 rms each
i'm using two amps....the mmatts 2600, and a kappa 5000.4
as a rule of thumb, i was advised to get an amp that is capable of delivering 50% more than I needed
I needed 375 for the fronts...and 225 for the rears.....the mmatts more than covers those at 430 per channel
i needed 150 for the tweeters.....and the kappa just covers it, but I'm told I won't need all of that power when I get it set up
