Has anyone, besides me, had their USB port connection get so hot it almost fused the USB port and extension cable?
What happened to me was that I was charging my HD pack Talk Edge using the USB port and a short extension cable to make the connection while riding. Received a message on screen "Device Not Supported". I didn't understand what was going on, so I continued riding home. Upon arriving home I went to disconnect the two cables. I had to pull hard to separate the cables. So now the cardo pack talk will not hold a charge, music is interrupted and even stops working. '24 RG.
Was just reading the Boom GTS manual for 2019 FLHTK Ultra Limited, Page 27, Table 12 It says the USB Port can be used for charging. The USB is V. 2.0, 5 V, 1.0 A charging current. Not sure why you would have issue charging Cardo.
