in that road glide you're building out, there is plenty of room in the fairing for 2 of the Fosgate PBR300x2 amps. Speakers by the way should be there tomorrow or Friday at the latest.

Thanks Todd. Would you say that is the best amp? There is one for sale on here but its a 4ohm and i was told I should go with the 2ohm. I was also told that ARC is a good brand. What do you think? BTW Todd, if you send me a number I'll text you the pic of those boom speakers on the inside faring of my buddies bike.

You wont be able to use a 4 ohm amp with 2 ohm speakers. The amp will heat up and shut down. Now if youre putting 2 pair of 2 ohm speakers in the fairing then you can wire them in series and put them on the front channel of that pbr300x4 and then put a pair of 4 ohm speakers in the rear and be good to go

As for quality, i dont have any hands on with the ARC stuff but from what i read they're great amps as well. I've had no name, j&m 4-channel, pbr300x4, pbr300x2, alpine on my bikes. Of all, I love the ease of connection with the j&m and the pbr amps. Theyre pretty much plug and play. I really like the pbr300x2 amps as they seem to have more "punch" living up to the reputation of their old punch series amps. Ill shoot you my # in PM

What are the options for possible amps? I'm going to order mb quarts pvl216 components, and looking for a decent amp as well. Any help in options would be appreciated. I only have read about the l audio and fosgate amps. Anymore digital amps worth buying?

there are quite a few manufacturers out there for amps. ARC, HawgWired, J&M, Pyle, Shark Motorcycle, and the list goes on. These particular speakers are 4 ohm speakers so just choose an amp with ratings at a 4ohm load.

it all depends on what you want to get out of your Unit, I run a complete System with speakers (4 6x9) in my saddlebags so what do you want to do exactly?

Haven't been able to get over to get it done yet. Right now, I have an appointment for 10/4. In the meantime I'm gonna talk to another guy here in town and see what they could offer, but i think in the end, I'm just going to ad the amp, and a couple of tweeters.
