I haven't run the Alpine speakers, so I can't help you there. If you decide to pursue them, be sure they are water resistant.
Also, I don't know if you've already purchased the KTP-445u, but if not, I am considering removing mine and totally re-vamping my audio system. You can PM me if interested and we can talk specifics. If you already have one, you made a great purchase and it will give you plenty of good, clean power (90 watts per channel - "bridged".
