Wiring Polk MM651 to the stock radio.
I have all the wires from the crossovers on the speakers and I'm looking to connect the wires from the crossover imput to the radio speaker wires. I'll be adding the ss nano later. My question is the rt side factory wires are green/black and grey/red. Which wire is +? On the left side the wires are white/orange and green/white. Which is +? also the wires from the crossover are black and black/white. Which is the +?? TIA
In my service manual it shows the gray/red as - ? It just didn't seem right.
I guess my SM is not the only one misprinted then. Good ole HD...
Springer,
I started with doing exactly what you are, and while it was really nice over stock, adding the amp really made those speakers sound great. Definitely worth the extra $140 bucks. I'd get that nano now while you have the fairing open and ger ur dun!

Where can you find the mm6501's for $140? I have found DB6501's for that but not the MM6501's.....

I think you misread the post above. What Sire2twins is talking about is the SS PN4.520D amp
I got the mm6501 on amazon for 202.00 and by the way the tweeters that come in the box have a bezel with a four prong mounting system that screws into the bezel and if you bend the tabs on the prong just a little it will fit perfectly in the gauge spots with out having to wait for the Harley gauge plugs which are on back order. Thanks un for all your help and patience and you might hear from me tomorrow when my amp comes in lol
