Hog tunes lids
I just picked up my hog tunes 6x9 lids and didn't know the speakers were 2 ohm. I'm stuck with a set of paper weights. They don't make 4 ohm 6x9 speakers. They told me to just instal a set of 4ohm 6x9 that there easily available. My shop won't take them back because of special order. Talk about a nice *** ****ing today. I spent a lot of money and am pissed off that i can't use them with my amp set up .
That's why you always do your research first !! Bite the bullet, and just buy a set of 6X9's..............somebody in the 'for sale forum' will buy the Hog Tunes off of you.
What amp do you have that isn't 2 ohm stable ??? Sounds like that was a bad choice too !!

Sorry to hear that the speakers you ordered we're the wrong resistance but on a side note how is the fit and finish of the hogtunes lids?

supermario1 (and others). not trying to take a sale from you but in reality (as 1sweetglide08 pointed out) you might be better off just getting rid of the pbr300x4 amp and replacing it with a 2 ohm stable amp. The only good 4 ohm 6x9 that I'm aware of (that ain't saying much) is the Pioner TS-D6902R and it's going to take a lot more power than that amp is capable of to make them sound good... Just my .02
The finish is superb ! Ready to paint. One plus for me.
