I installed Hog Tunes on my RG last year. It seems like every 6 months the speakers are going out. I installed the amp and speakers around May-June of 12, in December I had to send them in and they replaced one speaker, now here it is 6 months later and I have to replace them again! Is there a better speaker out there that will work with the Hog Tunes amp? I don't really want to buy a whole new set up again.
I installed the Hogtunes Tweeter Pods per the instructions and they don't work. Fortunately, UltraNutz explained the issues to me. The instructions are certainty lacking when it comes to non-traditional applications.
Polk MM651. They're 2 ohm so they will work with that amp and will put those Hog Tunes speakers to shame. You'll need 6.5" speaker adapters as well and make sure you purchase from somewhere with a warranty like Sonicelectronix.

Although I was not having speaker issues, I too have the Hog Tunes set up w/ amp and tweeter pod. I just felt like there was more opportunity for better sound quality without killing the budget. After reading as much as my eyeballs could stand here and taking the advise of some here, I went ahead and ordered the Polk Audio MM651s and the adapter rings. I will install when I get home at the end of the week. Something tells me I will be a very happy camper. Again, thanks to those knowledgeable folks here!
I ran that exact setup, Hogtunes amp, 651s, and tweeter pod. Very nice, you will like it!
Did you notice a substantial improvement with that setup?
I currently have the hogtunes amp, speakers, and pod... and also want more.
I was originally leaning towards the mm651's, however with the recent amount of failures being reported by many, I started to lean towards the Biketronics BT7P1's. However they are 4ohm and would require that i change the amp immediately as well.
The RF PBR300x2 would be a more substantial improvement, especially with the MM651's. At 2 ohms it puts out 150w per channel so it's an excellent combo. You could run the BT7P1's with it as well at 100w per channel at 4 ohms. Either way for two channels it kicks butt, with no heat or FM issues.

This is set up I have, I'd say it friggin cranks. Can't imagine you would be disappointed.
Ok, so it seems like this thread has been hijacked! Now to my original question please. Can anyone give me a good recommendation as to speakers that I can use with my Hogtunes amp? I see a couple of recommendations for Polk MMT(?) then I see some Greek recommendations, (that's what it looks like to me) can anyone tell this audio challenged old guy what's best?
Thanks!

The Polk Audio MM651 speakers are what I and most others will recommend. You won't find better speakers for the money! Check post #3 for the link to Sonicelectronix, that's where I purchased mine for great price and warranty.
