My ride is a stock 2013 Ultra Classic. My two questions concern the Intercom system:
1) when I acclerate hard, there is static in my ears . . . should this be?
2) when speaking with my wife, there are frequent but brief ( a second at most) breaks while one of us is speaking. The VOX is at a good sensitivity level. Can I do anything about this? All help will be greatly appreciated. Contact me directly ifpreferred at jdbailey@kos.net (in Ontario, near Belleville). Thank you.
davibail. This is not normal by any means sir. First thing I'd do if you have one available to you is try another cord on the front headset to test the static. Then work on the VOX issue seperately. These are more than likely 2 totally different issues sir.

Thx for responding. Have tried a brand new cord (loaned to me at the dealership) - hum on the line was there as usual. Have worked on the VOX sensitivity and it seems to be set quite well. I am annoyed with the constant hum and the fact that when I accelerate hard, the static cuts in.
